History
The 6017-50 United States Marine caboose is another one-year-only caboose manufactured by Lionel in the postwar era. Like other single-year items, the 6017-50 caboose has become hard to find, especially in collectable condition.

The 6017-50 U.S. Marine Corps caboose is unusual in that it is one of a few 6017 cabooses where the entire stock number is printed on the sides.

Features
Standard features of the 6017-50 caboose include: painted blue body with yellow lettering, AAR trucks with a single operating coupler plus a chemically blackened frame and end railings.
