History
The 1022's are a manually-controlled 027 gauge switch. Lionel sold these switches as a pair -- consisting of one left and one right-hand switch -- or separately. These switches are somewhat hard-to-find, but most of the value is in the original packaging.

Features
Standard features of the 1022 include: metal base, plastic cover, metal 027-gauge rails, black plastic control handle and a red plastic indicator.
