History
The 2338 Milwaukee Road GP7 diesel was a quality road switcher which Lionel produced for two years. Although somewhat lack-luster in it's colors, it does wear a protypical paint scheme for its roadname.
Features
The 2338 Milwaukee Road has the following standard features: orange molded shell painted blank on the upper and lower portions, three position E-unit, two-axle magnetraction, front and rear operating couplers, functional horn and an illuminated headlight at each end. It also carries Milwaukee Road decals on each side of the cab, two exterior simulated horns and a simulated fuel tank attached to the underside of the black painted frame.

Black Band on Cab - Shown in the photo above - The most common version of the 2338 is to have an all black cab and an easy item to locate.
Orange Band on Cab - The first production run of 1955 had an orange band on the cab. These versions are extremey difficult to locate.
