1032 Transformer: 75 Watts

Quantity:

Product Description

Production: 1948

History
The 1032 Transformer was only produced in one year; 1948. It was to become the foundation of Lionel's most popular mid-sized transformer, the 1033. Externally, the 1032 and 1033 are identical, the only difference being the model number and wattage printed on the cover plate. With 75 watts of output, it's considered a small to mid-sized transformer and can control a single set of trains designed to fit on a 4' x 8' table.

The 1032 remains a solid and reliable transformer. Because of the lower output than its 1033 cousin, most people prefer the 1033. However, this transformer should not be overlooked as it can easily handle any small to mid-sized layout.

Features
Standard features of the 1032 include:

  • 75 watts
  • Single control to operate one train
  • Directional control
  • Horn and whistle control
  • Constant voltage output terminal posts
