111 Elevated Trestle Set

History
The 111 Elevated Trestle Set was available in 1956 and available until the end of the postwar era -- 1969. The Elevated Trestle set is used in conjunction with a set of 110 Graduated Trestles. It permitted the layout builder the opportunity of keeping the train track at its highest level for an expanded elevated layout.

Features
The 111 Elevated Trestle Set included the following items: Ten 'A' size trestle piers, metal track clamps and the appropriate amount of mounting screws. The majority of trestle sets were produced in gray, however some black sets exist.

Gray Trestles - Shown in first photo above - The common version.
Black Trestles (Second photo above) - Assumed to have been produced only in 1958 and 1959. The black trestles are hard to find.
