1641 Three Car Steam Freight Set (1961)

History
Nicknamed the Headliner, this is one of only two freight sets to include the 246 steam locomotive. The 246 scout steamer is one of the more desirable scout steamers as it included magne-traction and a functional headlight.

This set includes three colorful freight cars, with the 3362 Helium flatcar being a new item for 1961. Although all of the items in this set are common, they are generally found in well-used condition. Clean, complete sets with track and transformer are hard to locate.
