The 1959 consumer catalogue contained quite an assortment, or in some cases a random mix, of trains and accessories. Paging thru the catalogue, one could purchase a set celebrating the anniversary of the Civil War; another set for designed for the latest addition to the USA, Alaska; Space and Military themed items were now the norm such as rocket launchers, exploding box cars and much more. Almost gone were the days of purchasing a traditional railroad items like log loader, coal loader or milk car.
