History
For 1958, Lionel modified the 195 Floodlight Tower manufactured in 1957 by replacing the top floodlights with dual microwave antennas and a blinking light. The result was the introduction of the 199 Microwave Relay Tower.

In addition to the 199 Microwave Relay Tower, the 195 Floodlight Tower and 299 Code Transmitter Set all share the same base and superstructure assembly.

Features
The 199 Microwave Relay Tower includes the following standard features: black plastic base, silver plastic superstructure, dual white microwave antennas and three blinking light lens on the top assembly -- one being a red lens and two clear lens.

Only Known Variation - All 199 Microwave Relay Towers have a black base, silver superstructure and dual white antennas.
