History
The 350 Engine Transfer Table was introduced in 1957 and experienced collectors believe it was only manufactured in 1957 and 1958, with excess inventory catalogued in 1959 and 1960. Due to it's somewhat limited length, the Transfer Table accessory is designed for single unit diesels or small steamers. It's a nice and useful accessory on any layout, however, it's set up and use is a bit complicated and original instructions are imperative to assemble and use properly.
Features
The 350 Engine Transfer Table includes the following standard features: black metal base with a black metal transfer table, yellow operators control booth and red wheel covers. The motor to operator the unit is housed within the yellow operators booth.
Also included with the accessory is a unique operators control unit (# 350-200) designed specifically for the Transfer Table. It has a black plastic base with three yellow squares and one red square on top used to control the movement of the transfer table. Additionally, there are a number of small track connector pns, clips and screws that are extremely helpful for proper set up and alignment.
