Quantity:

Product Description

Production:  1959 & 1960

History
The 3672 Bosco Corn Products refrigerator car is a continuation of Lionel's popular 3662 Automatic Refrigerated Milk Car manufactured in the mid to late 1950's. As with many other product introductions throughout the postwar years, Lionel was able to take an existing product -- the 3662 -- and update it with new eye-catching exterior colors plus a multi-colored matching stand as well as matching milk cans! Although it's introduction was at a time where interest in trains was starting to decline, this freight car has always been a popular item.

The 3672 Bosco Corn Products freight car consisted of two components -- a 3672 operating refrigerator car and a delivery stand. To this day the Bosco car remains a popular accessory as it is both reliable and rarely needs maintenance.

Features
Standard features of the 3672 Bosco Corn Products refrigerator car set includes:

  • 3672 Refrigerator Car - Includes a yellow body, brown roof ends, black lettering, metal trucks, two operating couplers, single metal brakewheel, opening brown doors on each side plus a cream-colored rubber man delivering seven non-magnetic milk cans.
  • Milk Stand - Brown painted base with a yellow stand and an adjustable metal tray. The stand is a stationary item and non-operational.
