452 Overhead Gantry Signal

History
The 452 Overhead Gantry Signal is basically half of a 450 Signal Bridge, but with a small foot or metal support tab purtruding from the base to prevent the signal from falling when not secured into a layout table. Like the 450 Signal Bridge, this too is based upon mainline signals commonly seen in the United States during the 1940s and 1950s.

This accessory is both reliable and durable. However, since sales were poor back in the early 1960's, this trackside signal is not easily found in today's market.

Features
Standard features of the 450 Signal Bridge include: black painted metal structure, two gray plastic base supports and two 450 signal light head. Each 450 signal consists of a die-cast base, one red and one green light, a plastic slide-on housing cover and wires extending from the rear.
