History
The 6112-25 Canister Set was sold for a three-year period, 1956 to 1958 and contained four canisters. The canisters could be used as a replacement item or as a new load for gondolas not sold with any type of freight load. As with many of the replacement parts, the canister are fairly common -- the box is difficult to locate.

Red Canisters with White Lettering - Shown in first photo above - Most replacement canisters were red with white lettering.
White Canisters with Black Lettering - The white canisters are harder to locate than the red canisters with white lettering.
Red Canisters with Black Lettering - Red canisters with black lettering are the hardest to locate and a rare item.
