History
The 6009 Remote Control Uncoupling Track was the least expensive remote control track produced by Lionel. It was only offered in its lowest priced sets -- usually starter scout type sets of the mid-1950s.

Features
Standard features of the 6009 include: one section of remote control track with an electromagnetic center section, two pieces of wire and a 96C controller. The 6009 track never included the two smaller rail sections used to activate operating cars.
